Lenovo K11 to Launch with Helio P22 SoC, Triple Rear Cameras, Online Listing Confirms

Lenovo seems to be prepped to launch a new budget smartphone called the Lenovo K11. The phone was recently spotted on the Android Enterprise Directory and Carrefour UAE online retail store well before the Motorola-owned brand’s official announcement. Both listings have helped confirm key specifications of the Lenovo K11 along with its retail price.

According to the listing on Carrefour UAE, the Lenovo K11 will cost AED 599, which roughly translates to INR 11,300. Two color variants have been listed – Black and Blue – and both offer 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage.

The Lenovo K11 will come with a 6.2-inch screen with a waterdrop notch up top the affordable nature of the handset suggests this would be an LCD panel. Powering the K11 is a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset with an octa-core CPU that will be paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. On the Android Enterprise Directory, another storage model with 32GB of in-built memory has been listed. Based on Lenovo’s previous K series offerings, we expect the K11 to offer microSD card expansion. Out of the box, the phone will run Android 9 Pie.

The listed images confirm that the Lenovo K11 will offer a triple rear camera setup. It has been mentioned that one of these will be a 12MP sensor, but there is no word yet on what the other two cameras are for. It is likely that the 12MP sensor is for regular photography, with the other two lenses offering telephoto and depth-sensing capabilities. This entire setup is said to be backed by a 3300mAh battery that charges over a microUSB port. The Lenovo K11 Is a 4G capable smartphone that supports dual SIM setups. For biometrics, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner on this handset.
