Lenovo’s MWC 2024 lineup of products has been unveiled and is filled with interesting options. The show’s star was a transparent laptop concept that had surfaced in leaked renders earlier this month. Lenovo further showcased new ThinkPad laptops, a detachable laptop, a 2-in-1 laptop, a touchscreen display monitor, and Smart Connect software. Lenovo ThinkBook Transparent Display Laptop Concept: Features, Specifications
The Lenovo ThinkBook Transparent Display Laptop Concept is a conceptual device. And yes, it features a transparent display, as the name suggests. The company claims this is an industry-first laptop with a 17.3-inch micro-LED transparent display.
It has a borderless display area that offers a see-through experience. A transparent keyboard area and a “floating footpad design” complete the transparent look and appeal. The keyboard can transform into a drawing board with a supported pen.
In terms of functionality, Lenovo says it will allow users to interact with physical objects and overlay digital information. This seems to be an augmented reality (AR) experience.
The 17.3-inch micro-LED transparent display is said to offer 1,000 nits of brightness. However, since it is a concept device, we do not expect the Lenovo ThinkBook Transparent Display Concept to be available for purchase anytime soon.
Lenovo ThinkPad T Series Business Laptops: Features, Specifications
Now moving to traditional mainstream products, Lenovo unveiled several new ThinkPad T-series laptops. These include the ThinkPad T14 Gen 5, ThinkPad T14s Gen 5, ThinkPad T16 Gen 3, ThinkPad X12 Detachable Gen 2, and ThinkBook 14 2-in-1 Gen 4. The company refers to these products as AI PCs, offering various AI experiences, including Windows Copilot integration.
