Tipster Jon Prosser has leaked the design renders and specifications of the upcoming MacBook Air model. The renders reveal that Apple’s upcoming laptop will get a major redesign. MacBook Air design renders leaked; to feature M2 chip, new colour options
Apple is expected to launch the 2021 MacBook Air later this year. Ahead of the launch, design renders of the device have leaked.
The leaked renders by Prosser reveal that Apple’s upcoming “Air” MacBook will get a design overhaul. Apple could ditch the wedge-shaped design in favour of a more flat design on the Air model. It will have a thin and lightweight design. The laptop will have two USB Type-C ports, each on either side. It is currently unknown if Apple will reintroduce its MagSafe charging tech on the upcoming MacBook models.
On the front, the display will be surrounded by thick white bezels. The keyboard’s colour will also be changed to white, according to Prosser. The display size is currently unknown. Previous reports suggest that Apple will introduce a 14-inch model by narrowing down the bezels on the Air model. It is also rumoured to come with a mini-LED display, which Apple debuted on the 12.9-inch iPad Pro.
Prosser further reveals that the upcoming Air model will have up to seven colour options. The tipster showcased the laptop renders in Blue and Green colour options.
