We are already in the second week of June and is packed with several new smartphone launches. Xiaomi is ready to bring its much-awaited Civi series to Indian shores, and OPPO is setting up the stage to unveil its F27 Pro+. Apart from that, some smartphones are making their global debuts as well. So, in this story, we decided to compile all the smartphones launching this week in India and other markets.

Xiaomi 14 Civi

Xiaomi is set to unveil its first Civi series smartphone in India on June 12, and it will be available through Flipkart. The microsite for the device is already live on the company’s official website and Flipkart. Besides, it has also made its appearance on several certification websites, which shed some light on the key specifications of the Xiaomi 14 Civi:

  • Display: While the exact screen size is still under wrap, we know that the forthcoming smartphone will have a quad-curved display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. It will also offer a 120Hz AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support.
  • Chipset: Beneath the display, it will draw power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, which is a cheaper alternative to the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
  • Rear Cameras: The teaser images reveal that the Xiaomi 14 Civi will house a triple-rear camera setup, co-engineered with Leica. It will include a 50MP Summilux lens with 25mm cinematic HDR support, a 50MP portrait telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and 50mm focal length, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 120° field of view.

OPPO F27 Pro+ 5G

OPPO is set to expand its F series lineup in India with the all-new F27 Pro+ 5G on June 13. It is slated to be the first smartphone in the country to feature an IP69 rating. The company has also confirmed that the handset will feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Here are its key details:

  • Front Camera: There’s expected to be a 32MP selfie shooter.

Honor 200 Series

Honor is going global with its 200 series. The company has officially confirmed that the 200 series will make its way to the European market on June 12 and will be available in China on June 13. Unfortunately, we don’t know about its Indian arrival yet. It is expected to have two smartphones in the lineup: the standard Honor 200 and the 200 Pro. Here are its key features:

  • Rear Cameras: The series is anticipated to have a 50MP primary sensor with OIS support, along with a 32MP telephoto lens offering 2.5x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom capabilities.
  • Front Camera: There is currently no information on the front camera, but it is expected to feature a 32MP sensor.
  • Battery and Charging: The standard Honor 200 is expected to come with a 5,000mAh battery, while the 200 Pro could have a slightly larger 5,200mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.

Honor Magic V Flip

Honor is also expanding its foldable portfolio with the Magic V Flip. The company has already confirmed that the smartphone will launch on June 13 in China. The company has already shared marketing images of the device, which gives a glimpse at the colour options and design of the forthcoming clamshell foldable smartphone.   • Front Camera: We don’t have any details about the selfie shooter but it is expected to feature a 32MP sensor.
  • Battery and Charging: The Magic V Flip is said to pack a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery with 66W fast charging support.

HTC’s Comeback

The Taiwanese smartphone brand HTC is also coming back this week on June 12. The company has officially teased about a new smartphone on its X handle. However, we don’t have details like the name or specs. However, many people are expecting it to be the successor to the HTC U23 and U23 Pro, which were unveiled last year.

Interestingly, the team at MySmartPrice has spotted a new HTC smartphone on the popular Geekbench database, Bluetooth SIG certification website, and Google Play Console. This reveals that the device might draw power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC paired with 12GB of RAM and run Android 14.

However, it’s important to remember that the company has not revealed any details about this upcoming smartphone. So, take all this information with a pinch of salt and wait for the official release on June 12.
