After creating a stir in the budget smartphone segment with its Galaxy M-series smartphones, Samsung is now gearing up to launch its first 2019 Galaxy A-series smartphones. Last week, we brought you the complete spec sheet of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30, and Galaxy A50 smartphones. We have now received a new tip that confirms the mid-range Galaxy A70 and Galaxy A90 will be making its way to the Indian market in the first half of the year. Alongside the Galaxy A70 and Galaxy A90, Samsung will also launch an entry-level Android Go smartphone in the country.
Samsung Galaxy A70 and A90 Will Feature a 6.7-inch Display
The Samsung Galaxy A70 and Galaxy A90 will be the most expensive smartphones in the company’s 2019 A-series lineup. Similar to the Galaxy A50, both the Galaxy A70 and Galaxy A90 will feature an optical In-display fingerprint sensor. According to the information that we have received, the Galaxy A70 and Galaxy A90 smartphones will come equipped with 6.7-inch sized displays. The Galaxy A40, on the other hand, will have a 5.87-inch sized display. Samsung will also be bringing an entry-level Galaxy A-series smartphone with a 5-inch display to the Indian market sometime before the end of the second quarter. The device, bearing the model number SM-A260F was recently spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database. Going by the Geekbench listing, the SM-A260F will be an Android Go smartphone running on an octa-core Exynos 7870 ‘Go’ chipset, coupled with 1GB of RAM.
