Google ‘Accidentally’ Confirms Pixel 8a Exists; Launch Expected Soon

The battery stats menu revealed the manufacturing date of the device and cycle counts on the Pixel smartphones. With this, Google also confirms the feature that will debut with the forthcoming smartphone.

Google is also expected to incorporate more features, including battery health status, into the battery stats menu in the future.

Google Pixel 8a Expected Specifications

Google is tipped to debut the forthcoming device in Obsidian, Porcelain, Bay, and Mint shades. The smartphone will have 8GB of RAM and 128 / 256GB of storage. The 128GB and 256GB storage variants are tipped to launch at EUR 569.90 (approx Rs 51,300) and EUR 630 (approx Rs 56,700).

The Geekbench listing obtained by the smartphone revealed the presence of an underclocked Tensor G3 chipset. The listing confirms that the Pixel 8a smartphone will run on Android 14 out of the box.

The leaked images of the smartphone’s packaging box revealed support for 27W wired fast charging tech. The packaging box also confirmed that the Google Pixel 8a has dual rear cameras. Other specifications of the upcoming Pixel 8a smartphone are unknown for now.
