Google is expected to introduce a new mid-range handset – the Google Pixel 8a at Google I/O this summer. Ahead of debut, a new report by WinFuture claims that the upcoming mid-range Pixel handset will be costlier compared to its predecessor, the Google Pixel 7a. We also have information on its storage capability and colour options. Check out the details below

Pixel 8a Price and More Details Appear

It is revealed that Google’s upcoming Pixel 8a will come in two storage options: 128GB and 256GB. It could be priced at EUR 569.90 (approx Rs 51,300) for the 128B storage variant. The 256GB storage option of the handset will cost EUR 630 (approx Rs 56,700). For the uninitiated, the Google Pixel 6a and Pixel 7a were launched at EUR 460 and EUR 510, respectively.

Google offered the Pixel 6a and Pixel 7a with only a 128GB storage option. So, the Pixel 8a will be the first A-series handset to feature 256GB of storage. However, with increased storage and price, the Pixel 8a will not be much cheaper than the vanilla Pixel 8. The Google Pixel 8 was launched at EUR 800 and can be grabbed with offers and discounts.

The report also reveals that the Google Pixel 8a will arrive in four colour options: Obsidian, Porcelain, Bay, and Mint.

As for the specs, little is known but a recent Geekbench listing has given some hints. The Pixel 8a is said to be powered by an underclocked Tensor G3 processor. The handset will come pre-loaded with Android 14 and could come equipped with 8GB of RAM. As per certification listings, the handset is expected to feature a 4,942mAh battery unit and 27W fast charging support.
