Max J, a person who is well-known for leaking information of upcoming Samsung devices, has posted an image of a smartphone on Twitter, which he claims to be an upcoming handset from OnePlus. According to the image, this device from OnePlus will be launched on October 15, 2019. Unfortunately, the image doesn’t give us a clear view of the device; all we can see in the image is a triple-camera setup of the smartphone. And it looks similar to that of the OnePlus 7 Pro.

It Could Be Called the OnePlus 7T Pro

As you might know, OnePlus launches two flagships smartphones every year, and the second device that launches every year carries a ‘T’ suffix in its name. For example, the OnePlus 3 launched in the first half of 2016, and in the second half came its successor – the OnePlus 3T. As the OnePlus 7 Pro was launched in the first half of 2019, we expect the upcoming smartphone from OnePlus that Max J claims will be launched on October 15, could be named the OnePlus 7T Pro.

There have been at least two leaks of the OnePlus 7T Pro so far, excluding the one you are reading about right now. The first leak showed us the front facia of the device. Not that we could extract anything worthy from the image, as the device in the image was covered in some sort of case. The second leak of the alleged OnePlus 7T Pro showed the device from either side. Again, there wasn’t anything to write home about; the device had a bezel-less and notch-less display, and a triple-camera setup at the rear, just like that of the OnePlus 7 Pro.

OnePlus 7T Pro Might Feature Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, 64MP Rear Camera, And Larger Battery

The OnePlus 7T Pro is expected to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, instead of the Snapdragon 855 in the OnePlus 7 Pro. And this will be the major upgrade the OnePlus 7T Pro is expected to bring over its predecessor. The OnePlus 7T Pro could also feature better camera hardware; the brand could swap the 48MP primary camera with the 64MP camera from Samsung. And if the past devices are anything to go by, the OnePlus 7T Pro could feature a larger battery pack than the OnePlus 7 Pro.
