Poco F4 5G Listed on NBTC Certification Website, Expected to Launch Soon

Poco is gearing up to launch the next-gen F series flagship phone soon, the Poco F4 5G. The company recently launched the Poco M series and Poco X series phones and now, we are expecting the company to announce the popular F series affordable flagship phone in the coming days. Ahead of the official announcement, the phone has now been spotted on the NBTC certification site in Thailand.

Previously, the phone was spotted on the Geekbench database with Qualcomm Snapdragon 5G SoC, 8GB RAM, and the device will run on Android 12 out of the box. The new findings on the NBTC database confirm the device’s model number again and also the support for the 5G network. Let’s take a look at the POCO F4 5G in detail.

POCO F4 5G NBTC Listing

The Poco F4 5G phone with 22021211RG model number has been spotted on the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) in Thailand. The phone is manufactured in China and is also likely to launch in China at first and make its way to other markets like Europe and India later.

The device’s moniker is also confirmed via the certification as Poco F4 along with that the device will support GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and NR telecommunication sub-categories. This confirms the support for 5G on the upcoming Poco F4.

The Poco F4 5G was previously spotted on the Geekbench website and as per the listing, the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 870 processor and it’ll be paired with an Adreno 650 GPU. The phone is said to come with 8GB of RAM under the hood, but we can also expect other RAM and storage options as well. The device runs Android 12 out of the box and will have a layer of MIUI 13 on top. The Poco F4 could also be a rebranded version of the recently launched Redmi K40S in global markets.
