POCO F5 5G Might be Priced Under Rs 30,000 in India
The POCO F5 5G will be the company’s flagship smartphone for the Indian market. The device’s pricing details have leaked online. According to tipster Paras Guglani, aka Passionate Geekz, the F5 5G price in India will start at Rs 27,999. The tipster did not mention the RAM and storage options of the phone.
The F5 5G is also said to go on sale on May 11, two days after its launch in India. The device is likely to be available for purchase via Flipkart. The tipped price is the same as the launch price of the F4 5G, which was launched for Rs 27,999 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Guglani further added that the POCO F4 5G, which was launched last year with a Snapdragon 870 SoC, will continue to be available for purchase after the launch of the upcoming F-series flagship. The phone’s 6GB + 128GB variant is currently available for Rs 25,999 on Flipkart.

While Guglani is mostly accurate with his leaks, we advise taking the F5 5G’s pricing details with a pinch of salt.
The F5 5G is likely a rebadged Redmi Note 12 Turbo from China. The leaked details, which include design renders and specifications, suggest the same. The phone will sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is flat and has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre.
The upcoming POCO F-series phone is likely to launch with 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB storage options. On the back, there will be a triple-camera setup. There will be a 64MP main camera sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, the phone will feature a 16MP front camera sensor. The device is tipped to pack a 5000mAh battery and offer 67W fast charging support. Lastly, the phone is expected to run Android 13 out of the box and have a layer of MIUI 14 on top.
