Realme GT 5 Pro With Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and 24GB RAM Spotted on Geekbench Ahead of Launch

The Realme GT 5 Pro will boot Android 14 out of the box.

Update: A new variant of the upcoming Realme GT 5 Pro has been spotted on GeekBench. The GeekBench listing confirms that Realme will launch the device in a 24GB variant. The smartphone has scored 2225 points in single-core and 6663 points in multi-core tests.

Realme is expected to launch its next flagship smartphone, the Realme GT 5 Pro in China by the end of this month. Ahead of the official launch, the Chinese smartphone maker has started teasing a few aspects of the device. Recently, the company confirmed that the device will offer exceptional photography experience, and up to 1TB of internal storage. The brand earlier today also revealed that the device will feature a Sony Lytia sensor. Now, the hardware specifications of the handset are revealed courtesy of the Geekbench listing.

Realme GT 5 Pro Will Pack 16GB of RAM

If we have a look at the benchmark test result, we can see that the Realme GT 5 Pro (RMX3888) will be powered by Qualcomm’s newly announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The chipset will have a max CPU clock speed of 3.30GHz. The smartphone will pack up to 16GB of RAM, and it will run Android 14 out of the box. The device has managed to pull off 1229 and 4699 points in the single-core and multi-core tests respectively.

The few other specifications of the device are already known to us considering that the device was spotted on the TENAA certification website a few days back. As revealed by the TENAA certification earlier, the Realme GT 5 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1264 x 2780px resolution. The display panel might offer a 120Hz refresh rate.

Furthermore, the device is tipped to launch in 8GB/12GB and 16GB of RAM configurations. The smartphone is expected to feature a triple-camera setup. As mentioned above, the company today has confirmed that the handset will be featuring a Sony Lytia sensor. However, Realme has not mentioned as to which Sony Lytia sensor the device will include. We can expect the handset to feature the Sony LYT-808 sensor, similar to that of the OnePlus 12.

The primary Sony LYT-808 sensor might be accompanied by a 50MP telephoto camera module (Sony IMX890 sensor), and a 8MP ultra-wide lens. The device is expected to be backed by a 5,260 battery which no doubt will be offering fast charging support.

Currently, Realme has not revealed the Realme GT 5 Pro launch date currently. However, as confirmed by the vice president of Realme Xu Qi earlier, the device will launch in China this month. Considering that the handset is debuting this month, the company might as well reveal its launch date in the coming few days.
