Realme is working on a new smartphone to launch in the GT Neo 5 series for China. The company debuted Realme GT Neo 5 in China as the world fastest charging smartphone. The upcoming Realme GT Neo 5 SE was first spotted in China’s 3C with the model number RMX3700. Later the smartphone was listed in the Ministry of Information and Technology (MIIT) and TEENA with the same model number. All these gave hints that the smartphone is launching soon in China. Ahead of the launch, the smartphone has been listed in GeekBench, revealing the device’s key specifications. According to tipster Mukul Sharma, the device would feature an unannounced Qualcomm chipset.
Realme GT Neo 5 SE GeekBench Scores Revealed
The GeekBench listing of GT Neo 5 SE reveals the same RMX3700 model number as MIIT, TENAA, and 3C listings. The forthcoming smartphone has scored 390 points in GeekBench ML tests. The listing also tells us that the smartphone will feature 8GB of RAM and runs on Android 13 out of the box. The tipster reveals that the device would be equipped with an unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
He adds that the chipset might be called Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Youth Edition. The GeekBench listing revealed that it would have four cores clocked at 1.8 GHz, three cores at 2.5 GHz, and one core at 2.9 GHz. Apart from this, the GeekBench listing of GT Neo 5 SE doesn’t reveal anything.
For those unaware, the GT Neo 5 came with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and there are high chances for the SE to come with an under-clocked 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Digital Chat Station previously tipped the Realme GT Neo 5 SE specifications on Weibo. He said the smartphone would feature a 6.74-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. The display would bring support for a refresh rate of 144Hz and 2160Hz PWM Dimming.
Realme will equip the display with a centered punch-hole to house the selfie camera. In the optics department, the smartphone will feature a triple rear camera setup. The setup will consist of a primary 64MP OmniVision sensor with an f/1.79 aperture and OIS. The sensor is said to be accompanied by a secondary 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and 2MP macro sensor. The punch-hole will house 16MP Sony IMX 471 selfie sensor.
Realme would pack a large 5,500 mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC fast charging tech. The existing Realme GT Neo 3 has been due for an upgrade. The company is likely to launch the upcoming GT Neo 5 SE smartphone globally as Realme GT Neo 5. Since the GT Neo 5 was launched globally as Realme GT 3.
