Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra renders leaked
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is months away from its official launch. The design renders of the next Galaxy flagship have leaked online prior to the launch. The render images uploaded by tipster OnLeaks and Digit reveal that the S22 Ultra will get a major redesign.
According to the tipster, the S22 Ultra will have a design similar to the Galaxy Note series. The S22 Ultra will come with a flat top and bottom edge, with the latter having a slot for the S Pen. The device will have a curved AMOLED display, which is said to be 6.8-inches tall. It will continue to have a hole-punch cutout for the front camera at the top centre of the screen. The display will come with support for a high refresh rate, which is likely to be up to 120Hz.
The rear camera module design is also quite unique. OnLeaks claims that the S22 Ultra will have a P-shaped camera module. It will house a quad-camera setup with the LED flash which is placed inside the camera module. Details about the camera sensors remain unknown. The report claims that the device will have a periscope camera lens. We can expect the other three sensors to offer wide, ultrawide and telephoto zoom shooting capabilities. For reference, the S21 Ultra came with two telephoto camera sensors with 3x and 10x optical zoom, a main camera and an ultrawide sensor.
Other details revealed via the renders include a USB Type-C port and the speaker grille at the bottom edge and the SIM tray at the top edge. The device measures roughly 163.2 x 77.9 x 8.9mm (10.5mm with the camera bump).
