[Update: Now on NBTC and Indonesian Telecom] Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 Support Page Goes Live Hinting at Imminent Launch

Two variants of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 — SM-R840 and SM-R850 — have now been certified through Indonesian Telecom. This certification mentions the name of the wearable, confirming its moniker once again.

Furthermore, we have spotted the SM-R845F model of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 on the NBTC certification platform. It reveals that the SM-R845F will have a 45mm case size and cellular connectivity with LTE and WCDMA.

The upcoming flagship smartwatch from Samsung, the Galaxy Watch 3, has recently been certified through multiple agencies recently, including FCC, NRRA, and Korean NBTC, hinting towards an imminent launch of the wearable. The launch of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 now gets even closer as the support pages of the smartwatch have gone live on Samsung’s official website for Korea.

Support pages of a total of four models of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 have gone live on the brand’s official website for Korea, SM-R840NZKAKOO, SM-R840NZSAKOO, SM-R850NZDAKOO, and SM-R850NZSAKOO. It should be noted that support pages mention only the main part of the model numbers, SM-R840 and SM-R850. The full model numbers are mentioned in the webpage links of the support pages.

Unfortunately, these support pages don’t reveal any new features, specifications, or any other important information regarding the Galaxy Watch 3. That being said, the listing of the support pages hint that Samsung is getting ready to launch its next-gen flagship wearable.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 features that we know so far

From the certifications so far, we know that the SM-R840 model of the Galaxy Watch 3 has a 41mm size and SM-R850 has a 45mm size. There are two more models of the smartwatch, SM-R845 and SM-R855. These are cellular versions of the SM-R840 and the SM-R850.

The certifications reveal that the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 will have a stainless-steel case. In terms of durability, it will feature Corning Gorilla Glass XD protection for the display, 5ATM water-resistance, and MIL-STD 810G certification. When it comes to health-oriented features, the schematics of the Galaxy Watch 3 suggest that it will have a heart-rate monitor at the back. The cellular, as well as the non-cellular versions of the smartwatch, will come with GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. As for the charging, the Galaxy Watch 3 will come with a wireless charging feature and EP-OR825 charger that will be capable of charging the smartwatch at a 5W rate.
