Xiaomi 13 Lite 5G is expected to launch soon in various markets. The company will officially unveil its new Lite series smartphone globally as a rebadged version of the Xiaomi Civi 2 from China. The 13 Lite 5G will be a premium smartphone offering. Xiaomi is yet to confirm the global launch date of the phone. Meanwhile, some key details about the phone have leaked online, courtesy of an unboxing video.

The unboxing video shows the phone’s design and some of the key specifications ahead of its launch. As per the leaked details, the phone will have the same specs and features found in the Xiaomi Civi 2 5G in China. There is a curved rear panel and frame. Xiaomi 13 Lite 5G Unboxing Video Leaks Design, Specifications

The Xiaomi 13 Lite 5G is expected to debut at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023. Ahead of the launch, the phone’s specs have leaked. An unboxing video uploaded online (via) has revealed the box contents and the specifications of the phone. The 13 Lite 5G has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC under the hood.

The phone will also come with a 67W fast charger in the box and a charging cable alongside. We can also see the phone in its black colour option. There is a triple-camera setup on the back. The phone has a circular camera cutout for housing two out of the three sensors. The third sensor is placed inside a separate cutout, next to which is an LED flash module. The text on the camera module confirms that the 13 Lite 5G has a 50MP main camera sensor.

The front of the phone pretty much confirms that the 13 Lite 5G is a rebadged Civi 2 5G from China. There is a dual hole-punch cutout for the front cameras. The screen is also curved towards the edges.

As per some of the leaked details, the phone will launch in black, blue and pink colour options in global markets. The 13 Lite 5G will also feature a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The 10-bit display will have 1920Hz PWM Dimming, 1000 nits of peak brightness and support for Dolby Vision.

The main camera on the back will have a Sony IMX766 sensor. It will also feature a 20MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, the 13 Lite 5G will have two 32MP sensors. There will be a standard 32MP front wide camera and a 32MP ultra-wide camera.

The device will pack a 4500mAh battery. As mentioned above, it will support 67W fast charging out of the box. The device will also feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. It will be interesting to see if the global variant boots Android 13 out of the box as the Civi 2 5G in China was launched with Android 12-based MIUI 13 out of the box.
