Moto has been on a launch spree. The brand, in the last couple of months, has launched the Moto G14, Moto G54 5G, and Moto G84 5G under its G-series. The brand now appears to be prepping up to launch yet another G-series smartphone – the Moto G24 as we have spotted it on the Geekbench benchmark database.
The Moto G24 will be the successor of the Moto G23 and is expected to be a mid-range handset. This is the first time when the Moto G24 has made an appearance on the web. The Moto G24 Geekbench listing reveals key specifications including the presence of an octa-core MediaTek Helio SoC and 8GB of RAM under the hood. Let us take a closer look at the details.
The Moto G24 managed to score 407 points in the single-core round of the Geekbench 6 benchmark test. In the multi-core round, the upcoming G-series handset scored 1399 points. The listing further reveals the presence of an octa-core processor with 2 + 6 core configuration, clocked at 2.00GHz and 1.80Hz respectively.
The listing also suggests that the SoC on the Moto G24 includes a Mali G52 GPU. This implies that the upcoming Moto G-series smartphone will either be powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 or the Helio G85 processor. Even though the Geekbench listing doesn’t clearly specify the SoC, it seems that the Moto G24 might use MediaTek Helio G85 processor, similar to its predecessor.
The listing further reveals that the Moto G24 will feature 8GB of RAM. Although, we can expect the handset to come in other memory configurations as well. The Moto G24, going by the Geekbench listing, will come pre-loaded with the latest version of Android, that is Android 14.
