Motorola is gearing up to introduce a new Android tablet. The company has launched a couple of Android tablets in its Tab G-series in India. A third new Motorola tablet called the Moto Tab G62 is in the works. The company has not officially announced any details about the launch of the Tab G62. While we wait for that, the device has been spotted on the Google Play Console.

The listing on the Google Play Supported Devices website confirms the official moniker and the model number of the upcoming Moto tablet. Let’s take a look at the Moto Tab G62 features, specifications and other details revealed so far.

Moto Tab G62 Google Play Console 

Motorola will launch the Moto Tab G62 as its new Android tablet soon. The device has been spotted on the Google Play Supported Devices list. As per the listing, the upcoming Motorola tablet has the model numbers XT2261-1, and XT2261-2. The latter is the LTE variant of the phone, which will come with 4G network support. 

The listing also confirms the official moniker of the device. Other than the two details, no other piece of information about the Tab G62’s specifications or features has surfaced online.

Judging by the moniker, it is safe to expect the device to sit between the Moto Tab G20 and the Tab G70, which were launched previously in India. The Tab G70 is the more premium offering among the two Motorola tablets available in India.

The Tab G70 features a MediaTek Helio G90T, an 11-inch 2K display with 400 nits of peak brightness. The tablet has quad-speakers with support for Dolby Atmos. It also packs a 7700 mAh battery with 20W rapid charging out of the box. The Tab G70 has a metal body. It runs Android 11 out of the box. There is a 13MP camera on the back with an LED flash. For video calls, there is an 8MP front camera. The tablet is IP52 rated for splash resistance and comes with up to 128GB of internal storage.
