We can expect Motorola to bring the standard Edge 20 to India. The other smartphone that is likely to launch is the Edge 20 Pro. We speculate so as the company has launched multiple phones under Rs 20,000. It includes the likes of the Moto G30, G40 Fusion and the G60. The Edge 20 series packs premium smartphone specs and could be the company’s next bet in the mid-range and premium space.
The three phones sport a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display. The standard and the Pro model come with a 144Hz refresh rate screen, whereas the Lite model comes with a 90Hz refresh rate support.
Under the hood, the Pro model packs a Snapdragon 870 SoC, whereas the standard variant comes with a Snapdragon 778 SoC. In terms of camera, the device’s pack a triple-camera setup with differences in the sensor setup. The Pro model features a 108MP primary camera. It has an 8MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and 50x hybrid zoom. The device also features a 16MP ultrawide lens that doubles up to shoot macro shots as well. The vanilla Edge 20, on the other hand, comes with the same 108MP primary sensor and 16MP ultrawide sensor found on the Pro model. The third 8MP telephoto sensor shoots 3x optical zoom and supports OIS.
