Motorola has scheduled a launch event on April 3 in India to announce the upcoming Edge series smartphone, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, as per the teaser shared by the company. Now, its microsite on Flipkart is live, which reveals its key specs and features.
Motorola Edge 50 Pro: Confirmed Specifications
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is confirmed to sport a 6.7-inch pOLED display with support for 1.5K resolution. The pOLED panel will also support a refresh rate of 144Hz, 2000 nits peak brightness, HDR10+ certification, and a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut.

The teasers also reveal that the upcoming Motorola device will support SGS Eye protection and an optical in-display fingerprint scanner. The display will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and feature a centred punch hole cutout. The Lenovo-owned brand claims that the device is the world’s first PANTONE-validated display, camera, and PANTONE-validated colour. For those unaware, the PANTONE matching system is a standardised colour-matching system used around the world.
