Motorola India Teases New Smartphone Launch; Could be Moto G04

Motorola could soon launch the Moto G04 smartphone in the Indian market. The company dropped the first teaser for the upcoming launch on social media platforms, but it didn’t reveal the moniker of the upcoming handset. However, the launch teaser suggests that the upcoming smartphone could be the Moto G04.

The teaser shared by Motorola on X (formerly Twitter) reveals that the upcoming smartphone will come in green, blue, black, and orange colour options. The colour scheme suggests that the upcoming Motorola handset is the Moto G04 given the phone launched in these options.

The Moto G04 made its global debut alongside the Moto G24 couple of weeks ago. The Moto G04 is an entry-level smartphone, which retails for €119 (approx Rs 11,000) in the European market. The handset is powered by a UniSoC T606 processor and 4GB of RAM. It comes pre-loaded with Android 14, but it features the company’s proprietary MyUX skin op top.

The Moto G04 features a 90Hz LCD display with a high-brightness mode. The handset offers a 16MP rear camera with an LED flash. The selfies and video calls on the device are taken care of by a 5MP front shooter. It packs a 5000mAh battery unit with 10W charging support. On the security side of things, it offers a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
