Motorola Moto Razr 3 Design and Specifications

Motorola will launch a new Moto Razr 3 foldable soon. According to Blass, the foldable smartphone will launch in China in late July or early August. The device will later debut in the global markets as well. Blass claims that the phone will launch in two colours – Quartz Black and Tranquil Blue.

The company is said to make several design changes, making the phone look a lot similar to the Galaxy Z Flip series. The Razr 3’s leaked image reveals that it is slightly boxier and more squared off compared to the outgoing models. The chin is also now gone to offer more screen estate. The foldable phone from Motorola will come with a dual-camera setup on the back. The two camera sensors are placed side-by-side. As expected, there is an LED flash module next to the camera sensors. Blass claims that the foldable Razr has a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture. There will also be a 13MP secondary sensor. For selfies, the foldable screen will come with a 32MP front camera sensor. In case you are wondering, no, the foldable phone will not come with an under-screen camera module. The Razr will feature a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera.

While the screen size is unknown, the report states that the phone will sport a Full HD+ display. Regarding the processor, Motorola was said to be working on two different versions of the phone. One of the two models had the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, whereas the other featured the Gen 1+ SoC, which is yet to get a launch date. Motorola will launch the phone in multiple RAM and storage options. The base model will have 8GB of RAM, whereas the top model will feature 12GB of RAM. Other details of the foldable phone should surface online in the coming days.
