While the Chinese smartphone market was busy witnessing the launch of flagship devices last month, the Indian smartphone market was all about old phones returning to the mainstream, all thanks to the attractive sales and Diwali offers on e-commerce portals. Shockingly enough, this also means that the flagship iPhone 15 lineup has been replaced by budget 5G devices after holding the top spot for the past two months. We talk about this more and more in the latest edition of MSP Tech Insights.

Most Popular Mobile Phones in November 2023

1. Motorola Edge 40 Neo

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo has claimed first place and is a new favourite among online shoppers. It is the only device to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7030 SoC in India. It is priced attractively at Rs 20,999 and features a 144Hz curved pOLED screen, IP68 dust and water resistance rating, a 50MP main camera, a 32MP selfie snapper, fast charging, and more.

2. OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite is catching its pace again in the Indian smartphone market. It has moved from 5th spot to 2nd position. The phone has a valuable record of being in the top spot for three months consecutively. It is a big proof that users have placed their trust in OnePlus in the budget segment ever since the introduction of the Nord series.

3. OPPO Reno8 T

OPPO is a surprise entrant on this list. Nine months after its official launch, the Reno8 T has been listed on the MSP Tech Insights popular smartphone list. At Rs 29,999, the phone features a 6.7-inch OLED display, Snapdragon 695 SoC, 67W fast charging, and 108MP triple rear camera setup, among others.

4. Redmi 12 5G

The Redmi 12 5G, is among the most affordable 5G devices in the country. The Redmi 12 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor and costs Rs 11,499 in India. However, it would be interesting to see how the recently launched Redmi 13C would affect its popularity, for it is priced more affordably.

5. Vivo T2 Pro

The Vivo T2 Pro was on the tenth spot on the September edition of MSP Tech Insights, and was knocked out of the top 10 devices last month. Now, it has returned to the list and placed itself in the fifth spot, most likely due to exciting offers on the smartphone. It features a 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits peak brightness, a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor, 66W fast charging, etc.

6. Realme 11 Pro

The Realme 11 Pro has been a popular choice among youth, all thanks to its premium design and dual-tone leather finish. The handset has entered the list of popular smartphones in the MSP Tech Insights November edition. It offers a 120Hz curved AMOLED display, a 100MP dual-camera setup, and MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC at a starting price of Rs 23,999.

7. Samsung Galaxy F54

Samsung’s Galaxy F54 has been an ideal mid-ranger and is listed for the first time in the MSP Tech Insights. At Rs 27,999, the highlights of the device are its 120Hz AMOLED display and a large 6,000mAh battery. The phone also brings premium features from Samsung like Knox Security, Nightography, and more in the mid-range.

8. Realme 11x 5G

Another new entrant in the list is the Realme 11x 5G which is priced under Rs 15,000 in India. The phone features a glittery design on the back with a circular camera module. It is one of the cheapest 5G devices available in India and the recent e-commerce sales might have boosted its sales because of which it has been listed here.

9. Moto G54

The Moto G54 is another budget 5G phone that is aimed to provide a pure Stock Android experience to users. Priced at Rs 15,999, the Moto G54 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC and features a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a large 6,000mAh battery, and an IP52 water-repellent design.

10. Vivo V29

Vivo’s V series has always been a hot choice in the offline market however, due to the popularity of old phones in the recent e-commerce sales, it has lost its number 1 crown. At Rs 32,999, the phone features a 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 778G SoC, and a 50MP selfie camera among others.

Top Upcoming Smartphones in India (November 2023)

As always, we can see that users are excited about the smartphones that are yet to launch. Here are the top devices that MySmartPrice users are eagerly waiting for.

1. Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus

Xiaomi is expected to launch the Redmi Note 13 Series in India in January 2024. The series went official in China in September, and the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus is the highest-end variant. It ships with a Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset, 200MP primary camera, 120W fast charging, and more.

2. OnePlus Ace 2 Pro

The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is one of the most popular upcoming devices that the Indian audience wants to see in the market. However, considering that the Ace series from OnePlus has not launched in the country yet, it may not make its way to the country. This is the first device to feature 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage along with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and 150W charging.

3. OnePlus 12

The OnePlus 12 has gone official this week in China and is likely to launch in India in January. It is one of the most anticipated flagship smartphones, not just in India but worldwide. OnePlus’s latest premium phone uses a BOE X1 oriental screen with 4500 nits peak brightness and a 2K resolution. It ships with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 sensor, which is said to be an upgrade over the Sony IMX 966 sensor.

4. Redmi Note 13 Pro

The Redmi Note lineup is a popular series in India, so two devices from the upcoming Note series being on this list is not a big surprise. The Redmi Note 13 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC and supports 67W fast charging support.

5. iQOO 12 5G

The iQOO 12 will launch on December 12 and is India’s first flagship device to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. MySmartPrice was the first to report that it will launch under Rs 55,000 in India. The iQOO 12 also comes with flagship cameras which we tested in Jaisalmer.
