Last week, several press renders showing the Nokia 9 PureView flagship smartphone had surfaced online, showing off the smartphone’s In-display fingerprint sensor and penta-lens camera setup. The key specifications of the upcoming Nokia 9 PureView smartphone have now been confirmed, thanks to its listing on the Android Enterprise website.

Nokia 9 PureView Base Variant Will Include 4GB RAM and 128GB of Internal Storage

The render listed on the Android Enterprise website confirms the upcoming Nokia flagship smartphone will feature an 18:9 aspect ratio display with relatively thick bezels on the top as well at the bottom. While most other Android OEMs are moving to near bezel-less designs with waterdrop notches and punch-holes in the display, HMD Global does not seem very interested in maximizing the screen area even in 2019. At the rear, as shown by previously leaked renders of the smartphone, Nokia 9 PureView will sport an impressive penta-lens camera setup with Zeiss optics. In addition to the five camera sensors, the Nokia 9 PureView also has two additional cut-outs on the back for the LED flash module and possibly a laser AF module.

Moving on to the key specifications of the smartphone, the listing confirms the Nokia 9 PureView will sport a 6.0-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. While the chipset powering the smartphone has not been mentioned in the listing, it does confirm that the Nokia 9 PureView will be available with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. However, there is definitely a good chance that HMD Global will offer a 6GB RAM variant as well. Some of the other key features of the handset that have been confirmed by the Android Enterprise listing include an In-display fingerprint sensor and NFC support. On the software front, Nokia 9 PureView will ship with the latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system out of the box. Rumors suggest the smartphone will be powered by last year’s Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor and pack a 4150mAh capacity battery.

The Nokia 9 PureView is set to be introduced at HMD Global’s Mobile World Congress 2019 press conference in Barcelona on February 24. Alongside the Nokia 9 PureView flagship smartphone, HMD is expected to introduce the Nokia 8.1 Plus, Nokia 6.2, and a few other new smartphones at MWC this year.
