The launch of the Nothing Phone (2a) smartphone is around the corner, as the company has confirmed the new device in its community. Nothing has also started sharing teasers for its upcoming smartphone on Flipkart. Nothing CEO Carl Pei has announced that details of the Nothing Phone (2a) will be revealed on February 13, 2024, at 3:30 PM.
Nothing posted an unlisted video on its official YouTube channel. However, the video does not disclose any specifications about the smartphone. The Nothing Phone (2a) is expected to be a smaller and less expensive variant of the original Nothing Phone (2).
The Nothing Phone (2a) is expected to retain the transparent design philosophy of the company. The device was also spotted on the TUV Certification portal revealing the presence of 45W fast charging. The phone is also said to feature wireless charging support.
Previous reports indicate that the Nothing Phone (2a) may feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset. The device is also said to feature 50MP dual rear cameras and a 4290mAh battery.
It will be interesting to see what Carl Pei brings with his new Nothing Phone (2a) smartphone. The company is also expected to showcase the device at the Mobile World Congress 2024, which is scheduled for next week.
