Nothing is gearing up to unveil its new smartphone, probably called the Phone (2a). It recently appeared on the TDRA certification website with the A142 model number. Today, we spotted the Nothing Phone (2a) with the same model number on the TUV certification website.

The listing on the TUV certification reveals that the device will have 45W fast charging support. Apart from that, it does not reveal any specifications of the device. However, we are expecting the launch of the smartphone anytime soon as recently the company Founder and CEO Carl Pei teased a new smartphone, which is most likely to be the Phone (2a).

Nothing Phone (2a) Expected Specifications

  • The Nothing Phone (2a) is expected to flaunt a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
  • It is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor.
  • The smartphone is reported to be released in two variants, offering 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage options.
  • The Nothing Phone (2a) is expected to incorporate a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL S5KGN9 primary camera and a 50MP ISOCELL JN1 ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies, a 16MP front camera is anticipated.
  • On the software front, the Nothing Phone (2a) is expected to run on Android 14-based Nothing OS 2.5 out-of-the-box.
  • The smartphone is likely to come with a 4,290mAh battery.
  • Regarding colour options, the Nothing Phone (2a) is expected to be available in Black and White, similar to the flagship models.
