OnePlus 10 series is expected to debut early next year. The rumour mill claims that the next OnePlus flagship smartphone series will debut before Samsung unveils the Galaxy S22 series. OnePlus could launch its flagship smartphones in January or February of 2022 in China. It will be followed by a global launch event sometime around March or April. While we wait for some official details, the case renders of the upcoming OnePlus 10 Pro have leaked. The new leak corroborates some of the previously leaked details of the Pro OnePlus flagship. OnePlus 10 Pro case renders
OnePlus 10 Pro case renders leaked ahead of the rumoured January launch confirm some key design elements of the flagship smartphone. The case renders listed on Alibaba show that the device has a square-shaped camera module on the back, similar to what we saw in the CAD renders based on the final prototype of the 10 Pro.
The area near the camera module has a massive cutout on the case. This gap helps us understand that the camera module protrudes slightly above the rear panel as it blends into the side frame. Details about the sensors in the triple-camera setup remain unknown. However, tipster Digital Chat Station claimed that the device will feature 3.3x optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom.
Other details of the case render are similar to the leaked design renders. The power button and alert slider are on the right edge, whereas the volume keys are located on the left edge. At the bottom edge lies the USB Type-C port.
The curved display at the front has a hole-punch cutout at the top left corner. Rumours suggest that the OnePlus flagship will sport a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display. The phone is also likely to support a 120Hz refresh rate screen and come with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Other leaked details include Snapdragon 898 SoC, aka Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, up to 12GB of RAM, a 5000 mAh battery and 652 or 125W fast charging support. There is no word on the OnePlus 10 Pro launch date at the moment. We will share more details as and when available.
