OnePlus adds that the smartphone has a discharge efficiency of 99.5%, which is the highest among other flagship devices. The device also equips SUPERVOOC S independent chipset for better power management. The forthcoming flagship smartphone will feature support for 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging tech. OnePlus claims that the device takes about 26 minutes and 55 minutes to charge from 0 to 100 using wired and wireless charging tech.
OnePlus will equip the smartphone with an IP65 rating, which rates the device as dustproof and waterproof. The device is rated at level 6 and level 5, which are the highest level of dust resistance and waterproof capability. OnePlus has also confirmed it will equip the smartphone with USB Gen 3.2 for better transfer speeds. The device also features Bluetooth 5.4 protocol for enhanced Bluetooth connectivity and multi-function NFC.
The forthcoming OnePlus 12 5G smartphone sports an infrared sensor which helps in controlling all other appliances. OnePlus previously revealed the display specifications of the device, which confirms the support for Dolby Vision. The device will feature an X1 oriental screen jointly developed by OnePlus and BOE, which is the first 2K display to receive DisplayMate A+ certification. The display will have a peak brightness of 4500 nits, which is the highest in the industry.
OnePlus also incorporates Pro XDR tech and OPPO’s P1 independent display chipset for better output and efficiency. The device is also confirmed to equip a Sony LYT-808 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). The primary sensor will be paired with a 48MP Sony IMX 581 ultra-wide-angle lens and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset will power the device. The chipset will pair with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
