The OnePlus 12 is set to launch in China on December 4 to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The company confirmed the launch date of the smartphone a few days back. The smartphone is also tipped to launch in the global market in January 2024. The handset also has been in the news for the last couple of weeks, considering that it has been receiving several certifications. Now, in a recent development, OnePlus has confirmed additional details about its forthcoming smartphone. As per the teaser shared by OnePlus China president Li Jie, the OnePlus 12 will launch in White, Pale Green, and Rock Black colours.

Apart from confirming the colour details, Li Jie also has revealed that the OnePlus 12 will have the industry’s top glass technology. Earlier, the company also confirmed that the device will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The smartphone is also confirmed to feature a 2K resolution display which will have a 2,600 nits brightness. The smartphone will also use a Sony LYTIA LYT808 primary rear camera sensor. The device will also sport a 64MP periscope telephoto lens.
As far as the other key features of the handset go, it is expected to feature a 6.82-inch AMOLED display. The device might pack up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. On the software side of things, the handset is confirmed to boot Android 14-based ColorOS 14 out of the box.
The whole package is likely to draw power from a 5,400mAh battery which could support 100W fast charging. The device also could have 50W wireless charging support. The recent information shared by tipster Digital Chat Station also indicates that OnePlus might introduce one of the OnePlus 12 versions with a wood texture back.
Now, that the company has confirmed the SoC, camera, and colour variants of the device, we can expect it to reveal more information about the handset as its launch inches closer.
