OnePlus is set to launch the OnePlus 12 and the OnePlus 12R smartphones in India on January 23. These devices are confirmed to go on sale in India via Amazon. Specifications of these devices are already known, considering that both of them are already launched in China. Now, while we wait for the official launch, the pricing and sale date of the OnePlus 12 has been revealed by tipster Abhishek Yadav on X (formerly Twitter).
OnePlus 12R Sale in India Tipped To Start in February
As per the details shared by Abhishek, OnePlus 12 price in India will start at Rs 64,999 for the base 12GB RAM model. The variant with 16GB of RAM will retail for Rs 69,999 as per the leak. The sale of the OnePlus 12 will commence on January 30, whereas the OnePlus 12R will go on sale in the country in February i.e. next month, as per the tipster.
We can expect the OnePlus 12 India variant to offer the same specifications as that of the Chinese model. OnePlus 12 features a 6.82-inch AMOLED display with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, which is paired with up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
The device features a 50MP triple-camera setup, a 32MP selfie camera, and a 5,400mAh battery which supports 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
As for the OnePlus 12R, this smartphone will likely be a rebrand of the OnePlus Ace 3, which made its debut in China earlier this month. The OnePlus 12R is expected to feature a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, up to 16GB of RAM, 1TB of internal storage, 50MP triple-camera setup, 16MP selfie camera, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Alongside, the OnePlus 12 series, OnePlus will be also launching the OnePlus Buds 3. The OnePlus Buds 3 was unveiled by OnePlus alongside the OnePlus Ace 3. The OnePlus Buds 3 feature a 10.4mm driver, and an in-ear stem design. Furthermore, the earbuds have a 49dB ANC support, an IP55 rating, AAC, SBC Codec support, and 6.5 hours of battery life.
