OnePlus is gearing up to unveil its next flagship offering, the OnePlus 12. But just like every year, the company is also expected to launch the R version of its flagship offering. While almost everything about the flagship OnePlus 12 is out. The details about the OnePlus 12R are relatively scarce. Today, the OnePlus 12R has appeared on the CQC certification website with a CPH2609 model number.
According to the CQC listing, the upcoming OnePlus 12R will have 100W fast charging support. We also spotted the OnePlus 12R with the same model number on Camera FV 5, which revealed the camera specifications of the device.

The upcoming OnePlus 12R is set to feature a triple rear camera arrangement, consisting of two 50MP sensors with a 24.6mm focal length, f1.8 aperture, and OIS+EIS stabilization support. These sensors will capture 12.6MP pixel-binned images. The third camera will incorporate an 8MP sensor with an 18.5mm focal length, f2.2 aperture, and EIS support, capturing 7.4MP pixel-binned images. On the front, the device will house a 16MP selfie shooter with a 25.2mm focal length, f2.4 aperture, and EIS support, capturing 4MP pixel-binned images.
The OnePlus 12R has also appeared on Singapore’s IMDA certification website. While the listing doesn’t reveal any specifications of the device, it confirms that the upcoming device from OnePlus will have 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC connectivity.
Details regarding the specifications of the OnePlus 12R remain limited, but indications point towards it being a rebranded iteration of the OnePlus Ace 3. In terms of design, expectations are that it will bear similarities to the OnePlus 11R but with noteworthy enhancements.
Moreover, speculations suggest that a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor will power the OnePlus 12R and will run on OxygenOS 14, based on Android 14, out of the box. It is also anticipated that the device will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
A recent global marketing campaign inadvertently disclosed the potential launch date of the OnePlus 12R, pointing towards a release on January 23rd in India. Although this date is yet to be officially confirmed, tipster Max Jambor also hints at a launch in the latter part of January.
