At the launch of the OnePlus 7T in India a few weeks ago, many were also expecting to see the OnePlus 7T Pro. Unfortunately, the brand had other plans and decided to focus on its new OnePlus TV models instead of releasing a sequel to the impressive OnePlus 7 Pro (review) or even mentioning when we could expect to see its official release.

Despite OnePlus not making any official comments on the smartphone’s existence, there have been enough leaks and rumors to confirm that the phone is indeed in the works. Based on these leaks, it is being speculated that the phone will be unveiled at an event in London on October 10. It just so happens that a new HDFC bank offer listing has emerged for the OnePlus 7T that confirms this release date, and also exposes the phone’s availability details for the Indian market.

OnePlus 7T Launch Date Leak HDFC Bank Listing

Based on the above HDFC SmartBuy listing, the OnePlus 7T will go on sale in India via the OnePlus website and exclusive offline stores from October 10. At the same time, other offline retailers including Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, Poojara Telecom, Bajaj Electronics, and Top 10 mobiles will also obtain stocks of the smartphones. This will be followed by the sale of the 7T Pro over on Amazon from October 15.

HDFC will be offering an instant discount offer of INR 3000 to its users on the purchase of a OnePlus 7T Pro. Additionally, those who buy either the OnePlus 7T or even the older OnePlus 7 Pro shall also get instant discounts worth INR 1,500 and INR 2,000 respectively. HDFC will also be offering discounts of INR 4,000 and INR 5,000 for those who buy the OnePlus TV Q1 and Q1 Pro. Based on the bank’s terms and conditions, these offers will not be valid on HDFC corporate and commercial cards. As for the offer duration, it seems the discount can be availed until January 4, 2020.

OnePlus 7T Pro Expected Price, Specifications

Based on how the OnePlus 7, 7 Pro and 7T were priced at launch, it is expected that the OnePlus 7T Pr0’s price will start off around the INR 50,000 mark. Although the price of the phone will likely see a significant bump, the overall specifications don’t seem to be improving all that much. In terms of design, the OnePlus 7T Pro is expected to look a lot like the 7T, albeit without the notch since it will make use of a pop-up selfie camera. The display is expected to be the same as what we got with the 7 Pro, a 6.67-inch AMOLED with a Quad HD+ resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+ support, and a 90Hz refresh rate.

That said, the processor is expected to be upgraded to a Snapdragon 855+ which offers about 5 percent better CPU performance and about 15 percent improved GPU performance. Expect this to be paired with at least 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage just like the 7T. The battery is said to measure in at 4080mAh and support OnePlus’s new Warp Charge 30T. It is still unclear what the exact camera specification of the new phone will be, but it is likely the sensor will be housed in a similar circular ring like the 7T.
