After launching the OnePlus Ace 2 smartphone last month in China, OnePlus is all set to launch yet another Ace series handset – the OnePlus Ace 2V in its Domestic market. As per the official announcement, the upcoming Ace series smartphone will launch on March 7 in the Chinese market. Days before the launch, OnePlus President Li Jie Louis revealed the configuration options for the OnePlus Ace 2V. The company executive revealed that the OnePlus Ace 2V will feature faster LPDDR5X memory.
Another teaser image shared by the company confirms that the OnePlus Ace 2V will make use of UFS 3.1 storage. OnePlus has already confirmed that the upcoming Ace series smartphone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor. Let us take a closer look at the OnePlus Ace 2V specifications.
OnePlus Ace 2V: Confirmed Specifications
OnePlus China President has confirmed that the OnePlus Ace 2V will retail in 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 256GB storage options. The company says that the competition, in this price segment, usually offers 8GB + 128GB as the base configuration but OnePlus has decided not to offer a 128GB storage configuration option for the upcoming Ace 2V.
Alongside, the brand has also confirmed that the OnePlus Ace 2V will feature a 6.74-inch flexible OLED display with a 1.5K (2772 1240 pixel) resolution. It will be a 120Hz refresh rate display which will support up to 1450nits brightness. The display panel is HDR10+ certified and will house the front shooter inside a centered punch-hole notch. OnePlus says that the 1.5K display on the upcoming Ace 2V will consume 24.4% lesser power compared to a 2K resolution display.
The OnePlus Ace 2V will feature a flat edge design which we have previously seen with last year’s OnePlus Ace. The upcoming Ace series smartphone will be equipped with a triple rear camera setup which might include a high-resolution 64MP primary shooter. The smartphone might offer a 16MP front shooter as per earlier leaks.
The OnePlus Ace 2V is said to be equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit. The smartphone may feature support for 80W fast charging. The upcoming Ace series smartphone was spotted on the AnTuTu database earlier this week which revealed that it will come pre-loaded with Android 13. The OnePlus Ace 2V will also offer the company’s signature alert slider. It is not yet clear if the upcoming Ace series smartphone will feature a 3.5mm audio jack as well.
