OnePlus has just launched the OnePlus Ace smartphone in China. The OnePlus Ace marks the launch of a new series from the house of OnePlus as well. While the OnePlus Ace is an entirely new series, the same phone will be launched as the OnePlus 10R in India on April 28.
Along with the launch of the OnePlus Ace device in China, the company also announced two new audio products 一 OnePlus Buds N and OnePlus Cloud Ear Z2. The OnePlus Buds N will be launched as the OnePlus Nord Buds in India next week and the OnePlus Cloud Ear Z2 is rebadged OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2, which was launched in India a few weeks back.
The OnePlus Ace device comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max processor, a 120Hz display, and whopping 150W fast charging capabilities. However, the phone misses out on one iconic OnePlus feature. Let’s take a look at the OnePlus Ace in detail.

OnePlus Ace: Price and Availability
The OnePlus Ace base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at CNY 2,499 (~Rs 29,500). The 8GB+256GB costs CNY 2,699 (~Rs 30,700), the 12GB+256GB model costs CNY 2,999 (~Rs 35,400) and the top of the line 12GB+512GB costs CNY 3,499 (~Rs 41,300). The phone will go on sale in China starting next week.
OnePlus Ace: Specifications
The OnePlus Ace sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz screen refresh rate. The screen also supports HDR10+, 720Hz touch sampling rate, and 1000Hz instant touch. It is also the first-ever OnePlus phone to come with a centred punch cut-out for the selfie camera. Under the hood, the device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max, which is built on a 5nm processor. This is an enhanced version of the Dimensity 8100 SoC. The chipset comes with four Cortex-A78 cores with a clock speed of up to 2.85GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2GHz. It is coupled with Arm Mali-G610 MC6 GPU. The phone is paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. The phone also comes with a HyperBoost gaming engine that accelerates the GPU and CPU and takes the gaming experience to the next level.
In terms of cameras, the OnePlus Ace features a triple rear camera system. There is a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. Selfies and video calls will be handled by a 16MP snapper on the front. On the inside, the phone draws power from a 4,500mAh battery, which is paired with 150W SuperVOOC fast charger. In terms of design, the phone comes with flat sides, and curved edges but, it misses out on the alert slider and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Other features include Android 12 OS, fingerprint scanner, 5G, 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, 4129.9 mm sq. VC cooling system, and Type-C charging port. The phone is 8.2mm thick and it weighs 186 grams.
