OnePlus has unveiled a flagship product in India today called the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. These new buds are the successor to the popular TWS from 2021 一 the OnePlus Buds. The Buds Pro 2 were launched earlier in China. Now, the flagship audio device has been unveiled in India.

The TWS was unveiled in India today at OnePlus Cloud 11 event in New Delhi, where the company launched the OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 11R smartphones, the OnePlus Pad Android tablet, OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro smart TV, and OnePlus Keyboard.

The latest TWS from OnePlus comes in three colour options and will be available for purchase on Amazon and Flipkart. Let us take a look at the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 in detail.

OnePlus Buds Pro 2: Price in India and Availability

The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 TWS are priced at Rs 11,999 in India. These buds are available in Obsidian Black, Misty White, and Arbor Green colour options. The first sale of the device is scheduled to go on Feburary 14th. The device will go on sale via Amazon and Flipkart. The pre-order for the same begins today.

The OnePlus Buds Pro 2R will be available in March. Details for the same are yet to be revealed.

OnePlus Buds Pro 2: Specifications and Features

The new OnePlus Buds Pro 2 are in-ear style earbuds with a stem design. These new buds are powered by dual drivers. There is an 11mm dynamic drivers along with 6mm planar diaphragm drivers. It features active noise cancellation (ANC) with up to 48dB, which is an upgrade from 40dB on the first gen TWS. The brand says, that the Buds Pro 2 are 2.5 times better in terms of ANC compared to the last gen.

The buds also offer transparency mode and ultra-low latency gaming mode with just 54ms latency. There is a triple microphone setup that takes care of ambient noise cancellation during calls.

Further, OnePlus has collaborated with Dynaudio, which offers a better-tuned audio experience. The TWS offers pressure-sensitive controls and can be used to adjust volume, take/reject calls, and skip tracks. It comes with Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity for audio transmission. The Buds Pro 2 supports LHDC 5.0 (coming soon), AAC, SBC, and LC3 audio codecs. The product supports dual connections as well.

The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is one of the first TWS earbuds to come with Google’s signature spatial audio feature developed for Android 13. This creates a multi-dimensional experience within these tiny earbuds. It also supports Dolby Atmos head tracking. The presence of omnidirectional tracking and dynamic tracking adds more depth to the TWS. And There is also OnePlus ID 2.0 to personalize the audio listening experience. These buds also support dual connection allowing users to switch between two devices easily.

The Buds Pro 2 are rated to last up to 9 hours (without ANC) on a single charge. With LHDC Bluetooth transmission and ANC on, each earbud can last for 5.5 hours. The charging case packs a 520mAh battery unit inside it and offers up to 39 hours of music playback (without ANC). These buds support Type-C charging as well as wireless charging. These buds can offer 10 hours of music playback on 10 minutes of charging. Each bud weighs 4.9 grams and features an IP54 rating (buds). The charging case on the latest OnePlus TWS is IPX4-rated and weighs 47.3 grams.
