OnePlus Nord CE 5G Now Getting OxygenOS 11.0.4.4 Update With June Security Patch and More in India

The update brings several camera and system improvements to the OnePlus Nord CE 5G.

OnePlus launched the OnePlus Nord CE 5G smartphone last month in the country. It has not been even a month since the handset launched, and the company is already rolling out the third update for the Nord CE. To recall, last month, OnePlus had rolled out OxygenOS 11.0.2.2, and 11.0.3.3 updates for the handset. Now, the company has started rolling out OxygenOS 11.0.4.4 update for Nord CE 5G in the country. The update brings the latest June Android security patch to the handset, as stated by FoneArena. Along with the updated security patch, the update also brings several system, and camera improvements to the OnePlus Nord CE 5G.

OnePlus says that the update will improve the face unlock experience, and the charging speed. It is also said to improve front camera performance, as well as reduce noise in dark areas of photos shot in Nightscape mode. The update also brings an optimized video call experience. OnePlus usually rolls out software updates in a staged roll-out manner, so you may or may not have received the update on your unit. In the staged roll-out phase, an update is randomly pushed out to a limited number of users and a broader rollout follows a few days later.

The Nord CE packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G mobile processor with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256G UFS 3.1 storage. It offers a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and a punch-hole notch that houses a 16MP front shooter. The handset packs a a 64MP triple-rear camera setup including an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP mono sensor. it is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery with 30W fast charging.

In other Nord CE-related news, the company recently confirmed two Android updates, and three years of security updates for the handset. Going by this, the handset will receive Android 12, and Android 13 updates in the future.
