OPPO appears to be gearing up for the launch of the OPPO A16K smartphone. The OPPO A16K previously was spotted at BIS and NBTC certifications. Additionally, courtesy of the Camera FV-5 database, the camera specifications of the OPPO A16K were revealed earlier. Now, in a recent development, 91Mobiles has shared the key features and design renders of the OPPO A16K ahead of the official launch. As per the leaked render, the OPPO A16K should launch three different colours – Blue, White, and Black. Let’s take a look at the specifications of the handset ahead:

According to the renders disclosed by 91Mobiles, the OPPO A16K will feature a single camera at the back, which will be accompanied by a LED flash. If we have a glance at the leaked images, the device appears polycarbonate build with round edges. The volume and power buttons on the device will be located on the right side. Coming to the specifications, the A16K is rumoured to feature a 6.52-inch display with HD+ 1600 X 720 pixels resolution. Under the hood the smartphone is supposed to come with MediaTek’s octa-core Helio G35 SoC. The smartphone might launch in 3GB/4GB RAM options along with 32GB/64GB of internal storage.
We can expect the OPPO A16K to boot Android 11 out of the box with ColorOS 11.1 custom skin on top. Moving onto the optics details, the A16K is tipped to feature a 13MP rear-facing camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. Dimensions-wise the handset might measure around 164 X 75.4 X 7.85mm and it could weigh 175 grams. The whole package is supposed to draw a power from a 4,230mAh battery which might offer 10W standard charging support. As far as the other details of the device go, it appears that the phone will lack a fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is supposed to offer face unlock support. As of now, the launch date of the device is not known to us. We shall get to learn the detailed specifications and pricing once the smartphone goes official.
