Oppo A16K with Helio G35 SoC, 3GB RAM Set to Launch in India Soon: Expected Price, Specifications

Oppo launched the Oppo A16K handset back in November 2021 in the Philippines. Now, a new report by Mahesh Telecom suggests that the company is all set to launch the Oppo A16K handset in India. The report also reveals that the handset will retail for Rs. 10,490 in the country. Let us take a closer look at Oppo A16K price in India, features, and specifications.

As per the poster leaked by Mahesh Telecom, the Oppo A16K will retail only in one storage-memory configuration in the country, which is 3GB + 32GB. It will be priced at Rs. 10,490 and will be available for purchase in two colours – Blue, and Black.

Oppo A16K Features and Specifications

The A16K flaunts a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD display with a 1600 x 720 pixel resolution and 269ppi pixel density. It is a standard 60Hz refresh rate panel that comes with 480 nits brightness and a 1500:1 contrast ratio. The display panel on the device features a waterdrop notch and sports Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The A16K is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor coupled with IMG GE8320 GPU. It comes with 3GB LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB eMMC 5.1 storage. The handset also features a micro-SD card slot which lets users expand the storage by 1TB. The mid-range Oppo handset boots ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11.

In terms of optics, the A16K offers a 13MP rear shooter with an 80° field of view, f/2.2 aperture, and an LED flash. For selfies and video calls, there is a 5MP camera with a 76° field of view, and f/2.4 aperture. It also offers Night mode, and panoramic mode.

Powering the device is a 4230mAh battery unit with 10W charging support. It has a USB 2.0 micro-USB port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and supports the face unlock feature. Connectivity options include 4G, Dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS. It measures 164 x 75.4 x 7.85mm and weighs 175grams.
