OPPO A18 and A38 Appeared on Multiple Certification Websites Including Indian BIS, Could Debut Soon

The Chinese smartphone maker OPPO seems to be gearing up for the launch of the OPPO A18 and the OPPO A38 smartphones. While the company has not revealed the launch date of these devices, they have now received multiple certifications such as NBTC, SIRIM, Indonesia Telecom, and TDRA. Furthermore, both these phones are also spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification, indicating that they could launch in India soon. Additionally, the A38 is spotted on the FCC certification.

OPPO A18 and OPPO A38 Could Launch In India Soon

The NBTC certification reveals the moniker of these devices as OPPO A18 and the A38 respectively. The OPPO A18 possesses a model number as CPH2591, whereas the A38 carries a model number as CPH2579. Additionally, both these devices are spotted on SIRIM, Indonesia Telecom, and TDRA certifications, which reveal the same model number as NBTC. Furthermore, as mentioned above, the A38 also has received FCC certification. The FCC listing reveals that the OPPO A38 will be a 4G smartphone which will be running ColoroS 13.1 software. Lastly, these devices are also certified by BIS, which suggests that these devices could launch in India in future.

Apart from the model number, moniker, and software version, the certifications don’t reveal the specifications of the A18 and A38 respectively. The upcoming OPPO A18 should arrive as a successor to the OPPO A17, whereas the A38 could succeed the OPPO A37. The OPPO A17 debuted in September last year, while the A37 was introduced back in 2016.

The OPPO A17 features a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display that has an HD+ resolution and a 269 PPI pixel density. The device is powered by Helio G35 SoC which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The other key specifications which the A17 offer includes a 50MP dual-camera setup, a 5MP selfie camera, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 5,000mAh battery.

The A37 on the other hand made its debut with a 5.0-inch IPS LCD display. The device uses an octa-core Snapdragon 410 SoC which is accompanied by a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It has other features such as 8MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP selfie camera, and a 2,630mAh battery.
