Oppo is gearing up for the launch of a new A-series smartphone. The upcoming Oppo A55s will launch as the company’s next 5G smartphone under the A-series. The company is yet to confirm the official launch date of the A55s 5G. While we wait for that, the device has been spotted on multiple certification websites. The A55s 5G is listed on the Geekbench website ahead of its launch. The same smartphone has also been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification website alongside the FCC website prior to its official launch. Let’s take a look at the various details of the Oppo A55s 5G leaked before it goes official.

Oppo A55s 5G Geekbench, FCC

Oppo A55s 5G launch seems imminent. While we wait for the launch date announcement, the device is listed on Geekbench, revealing key specs. It has the model number CPH2309. The device listed on Geekbench has 4GB of RAM. It draws power from a Snapdragon 480 5G processor. The Octa-core processor has two performance cores clocked at 2.04GHz and six efficiency cores clocked at 1.8GHz. it scored 510 and 1592 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests. The listing also revealed that the Oppo smartphone runs Android 11 out of the box and is expected to have a layer of ColorOS 11 on top.

Other than the Geekbench listing, the phone is also listed on Bluetooth SIG with two model numbers – A102OP and CPH2309. It confirms that the device will support Bluetooth 5.1. Lastly, the phone has also been spotted on FCC. It reveals that the phone will launch in a Black colour option. The A55s 5G will support four 5G bands at least, which are n3/ n28/ n77/ n78. 

The device packs a 3,890 mAh battery, which is likely to be rounded off and marketed as 4000 mAh. The TUV Rheinland Japan listing of the A55s 5G also reveals that the budget 5G smartphone from Oppo will come with fast charging support. The device will support 18W fast charging out of the box.
