
Oppo launched the Find X5 series for the global markets. The company unveiled two new flagship smartphones, the Find X5 and Find X5 Pro. In its home country, Oppo also launched a new tablet called the Oppo Pad. The tablet comes with premium hardware under the hood.
Oppo is offering its new tablet with a 120Hz refresh rate display support. The new tab also comes with support for Oppo’s smart stylus. In addition to this, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800-series chipset. There is no word on the Oppo Pad’s launch outside China at the moment. Oppo Pad price
Oppo Pad has been launched in three storage options. The base variant has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage priced at CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs 27,500). There is also a 6GB + 256GB storage option priced at CNY 2699 (roughly Rs 32,300). The top-tier storage option with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It is priced at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs 38,800). The tablet has been launched in black, purple, and silver colours.
Specifications and features
The new Oppo tablet comes with a large 11-inch display. The company has used an IPS LCD panel which also supports a 120Hz high refresh rate. The bezels around the display are quite thin for a tablet. The screen has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. It comes with support for HDR10 and 10-bit colour.
As mentioned above, the tablet comes with support for the Oppo Pencil. The stylus can be charged magnetically. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. The tablet comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It comes with a beefy 8360 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The company claims that the tablet offers up to 16 hours of video playback on a single charge.
On the back, there is a single 13MP camera sensor with an LED flash. For video calls and selfies, the tablet has an 8MP front camera sensor. The tablet weighs about 507 grams and is 6.99mm thick. It has a USB Type-C port at the bottom and runs Oppo’s Color OS for Pad based on Android 11.
