HONOR recently announced the HONOR Pad 9 tablet in the MWC 2024 alongside the HONOR Magic 6 series smartphones. And now, it is confirmed to arrive in India. Its Amazon microsite has also gone live, which confirms a few of its details.
HONOR Pad 9 is Coming Soon to India
The Joint Managing Director of HTECH has revealed that the HONOR Pad 9 tablet will debut soon in India. For those unaware, HTECH is a joint venture between PSAV Global and Madhav Sheth, which operates the HONOR brand in India. The official adds that HTECH will bundle a Bluetooth keyboard that is compatible with the Pad 9 tablet for free.
The teaser shared by the official confirms the key specifications of the tablet, including a 12.1-inch display. The Amazon microsite for the upcoming Pad 9 tablet reveals that it will support a 2.5K screen resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also confirmed to support a 1.07 billion colour gamut, a screen-to-body ratio of 88%, and 500 nits peak brightness.
The tablet will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset with an Adreno 710 GPU. There will be support for 8GB of RAM (with 8GB of HONOR RAM Turbo) and 256GB of internal storage.
Additionally, it is revealed that the HONOR Pad 9 will have an 8,300mAh battery and 8 speakers with HONOR bidirectional noise cancellation and vocal enhancement. It will run MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 13.
To recall, it was recently confirmed that the HONOR MagicBook X14 Pro and MagicBook X16 Pro 2024 will be launched in India soon. These will also be made available via Amazon. The upcoming tablet is expected to debut alongside the HONOR MagicBook laptops in the country. Since the teasers are here, we can expect the launch date to be out soon.
