The leaker has also revealed the colour options of the upcoming Oppo device. The smartphone will be available in four colour options – Starry Dream, Aurora Blue, Moonlight Black, and Star Wish Red. Oppo Reno 5 Tipped to Come With 65W Fast Charging, Here’s All the Rumoured Specifications

Oppo is rumoured to launch the next-generation Reno 5 series in China in December 2020 or January 2021. Ahead of the rumoured launch, charging details of the smartphone have been leaked by Digital Chat Station. The tipster suggests that Oppo will launch the Reno 5 series with 65W fast charging for the dual-cell battery. The company had launched Reno 4 series with the same 65W charging capacity.

Oppo, earlier this year, had unveiled its 125W Flash Charging tech that is claimed to charge a 4,000 mAh battery in 20 minutes. This is almost half of what the 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 Flash Charge takes to charge the same 4,000 mAh battery.

If the leaked information by the tipster is true, it is likely that the 125W fast charging tech will be limited to Oppo Find X-series, whereas the Reno5 series will only get 65W fast charging support.

The leaker also revealed the possible colour options. Oppo will launch the smartphone in Starry Dream, Aurora Blue, Moonlight Black, and Star Wish Red colours. There will also be a Leather-back variant. The company has previously launched the Oppo Find X2 Pro in a Vegan Leather edition. We can expect the Reno 5 to have the same finish.

Oppo Reno 5 specifications were leaked in August. If reports are to be believed, there will be three devices in the Oppo Reno 5 series of smartphones – Oppo Reno 5, Oppo Reno 5 Pro, and Oppo Reno 5 Pro Plus.

Reno 5 is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 775G processor, whereas the higher-end models will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 processor.
