Oppo is rumoured to launch the Reno 8 series later this month in China. The company might debut its new premium smartphone series in India in June or July 2022. The upcoming Reno 8 series is expected to include at least four smartphones. These include the Oppo Reno 8 Pro+, Reno 8 Pro, Reno 8 and the Reno 8 SE/ Lite.

Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ 5G Specifications Leaked

Oppo will launch the Reno 8 Pro+ 5G soon in China, according to the rumour mill. The phone’s specs have leaked online ahead of the launch. According to Sharma, the Reno 8 Pro+ 5G will come with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display. The AMOLED display will come with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. We can also expect the phone to feature a hole-punch cutout.

Under the hood, the Reno 8 Pro+ will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX SoC. We have seen the same SoC in the OnePlus 10R, which was launched last month in India. The Reno smartphone will come with Oppo’s custom MariSilicon X NPU as well.

In terms of camera, the Reno 8 Pro+ will feature a 32MP front camera sensor. On the back, there will be a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera. The triple-camera setup should also include an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera.

There will be a 4500 mAh battery. The Pro+ model will support 80W fast charging out of the box. Oppo will launch the phone with dual speakers, and NFC support as well. The phone will also come with a premium aluminium frame. It will weigh about 183 grams and be 7.34mm thick. The phone is said to launch in three colour options – Grey, Black and Green.
