OPPO is gearing up to unveil its new Watch X. Recently, the company announced it will be running on WearOS and will be unveiled in Malaysia on February 29. Today, it has appeared on the 3C and Malaysia’s MIIT certification websites.

Update: At the time of writing this story, the pre-order page on OPPO’s Malaysia website was showing a ‘404’ error, and there was no mention of the Watch X on the company’s official website.

The OPPO Watch X was observed with the OWWE231 model number, which closely aligns with the upcoming OnePlus Watch 2 model number, namely OPWWE231. Hence, we may witness some rebranding activity here.

In addition to this, the listing also discloses that the smartwatch will feature 4G LTE support through eSIM.

Can We See OnePlus Watch 2 LTE Version Launch in Global Markets?

Meanwhile, OnePlus is all set to unveil its Watch 2 on February 26. We recently spotted the OnePlus Watch 2 on the FCC certification website, revealing only Bluetooth support and an LTE sign. So, a Watch 2 LTE version is possible for the global market since we have seen the OPPO Watch X with LTE support.

OPPO Watch X Expected Specifications

The OPPO Watch X is expected to flaunt a 1.43-inch round OLED display with a 466 x 466 pixels resolution. Beneath the display, it is said to pack Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 and BES 2700 dual chipsets paired with 1 GB of RAM. In terms of battery life, the device is likely to have a 500mAh battery with 10W charging support. Regarding other connectivity options, it is rumoured to have Bluetooth, 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi.
