The best new films on Amazon Prime Video in July are about physical temptations. The second season of The Summer I Turned Pretty, a hit series based on Jenny Han’s novels that follows three teens in a complicated love triangle, is the largest show to debut on the streaming service this month. There is Season 2 of Good Omens, the continuation of the dramatisation of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s heavenly (and hellish!) tale of an unlikely partnership between an angel and a demon, which is as light-hearted as the potential end of the world can be.
The finest films and television shows to watch on Amazon Prime Video in July are included here, along with a complete list of everything new to Prime Video, its add-on channels, and rentals.

Prime Video Rentals
Today, almost all OTT players lie somewhere on the “freemium” spectrum, where some material is accessible only through a paywall and some is free to see but contains advertisements.
Platforms are also taking a look at transactional video-on-demand (TVoD) services, where viewers can rent films for a set amount of time for less than the entire membership cost, in their quest to find the best income model. Users of Amazon Prime Video can also rent films. They claim that the idea behind this is straightforward: through industry-wide partnerships, increase the choice accessible to their customers and make streaming even more affordable. So, Amazon Prime Video has released a list of rentals available on its platform, for its viewers. Let us take a view at this list:-
Movie/Show Name | Available to Rent From Date | OTT Platform |

The Flash | July 27 | Prime Video |

Resident Evil: Death Island | July 29 | Prime Video |

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts
Available for rent, in less than two months after its release, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts signals a worse-than-anticipated performance. The Transformers series’ future seems to be uncertain as it became the lowest box office performance of the entire franchise.
Additionally, after 2017’s Transformers: The Last Knight, the 2023 film will be the first legitimate Transformers film in six years. As the events of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts occur after those of Bumblebee but before those of Transformers, it is still considered a prequel. The Autobots and Optimus Prime take on their toughest test yet. They must work together with a strong Transformers faction known as the Maximals to stop a new menace that has the potential to wipe out the entire planet.
- Star Cast- Anthony Ramos, Luna Lauren Velez, Dominique Fishback
- IMDb Rating – 6.1/10

Resident Evil: Death Island
I had the chance to watch Resident Evil Death Island recently, and I have to tell that it was much beyond my expectations. It was fascinating to see how the CGI graphics have advanced since the first movie in the series. The story goes like this: In San Francisco, Claire Redfield is looking into a huge fish that is killing whales in the harbour, Leon Kennedy is searching for a kidnapped DARPA scientist, and Jill Valentine is coping with a zombie outbreak and a new T-Virus. Together with Chris Redfield and Rebecca Chambers, they learn that the trail of evidence from their various cases points to Alcatraz Island, where a new evil has settled and is waiting for them to arrive.
Star Cast- Matthew Mercer, Nicole Tompkins, Kevin Dorman
IMDb Rating – 5.8/10
- Genre- Animation, Action Adventure
- Language- English
- Directed by- Eiichiro Hasumi
- Produced by- Sony Pictures Home Entertainment
