Meanwhile, a new leak from tipster Jon Prosser has revealed the possible launch date of the Pixel Watch. Design renders of the Google smartwatch have leaked in the past as well. Let’s take a look at the Pixel Watch launch date, specifications and other leaked details.
Pixel Watch launch date
Google Pixel Watch could get a launch in H1 of 2022. A new leak from Prosser reveals that the smartwatch could be announced on May 26. The tipster further added a disclaimer stating that Google is known to push dates further. Therefore, the smartwatch’s launch could differ based on related developments.
Back in April 2022, Prosser gave us the alleged first look at the upcoming Pixel smartwatch. Marketing images of the device have also leaked, which corroborate the leaked design renders. Based on the leaked details, the Google smartwatch looks quite premium. It will have a bezel-less display with a round screen. The smartwatch is internally codenamed ‘Rohan’.
The watch will come in two colours – Black and Silver. Google will also launch nearly 20 different types of watch straps. It will run Google’s WearOS smartwatch operating system out of the box. The watch will also have a crown on the right edge for controlling the UI. There is also a microphone cutout on the left edge.
One of the leaked marketing images reveals the UI which shows support for heart rate monitoring. Another image revealed an integrated Google Maps route which means that users could be able to use the Pixel watch for navigation purposes.
