Sony has confirmed the next PlayStation State of Play event will take place on January 31. It will kick off at 2 PM PT, 5 PM ET, and 23:00 CET. For Indian gaming fans, the event will kick off at 3:30 AM IST on February 1.

The PlayStation State of Play January 2024 event is set to be over 40 minutes long. This will make it a slightly longer event than what we have seen in the recent past. Sony has promised “guest appearances from some of the most talented minds in gaming” at the event.
The announcement reveals there will be more than 15 video games that will be showcased at the upcoming State of Play. These will include PlayStation 5 and PlayStation VR2 games that will be released in 2024. Some of these titles may go beyond 2024 though.
Sony has confirmed only two games Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin ahead of the kickoff. The first one will be a PlayStation 5 exclusive action-adventure game from Korean developer Shift Up. It is one of the most anticipated games since its first teaser trailer drop in 2019. We can expect to see more footage and the Stellar Blade release date at the event.
Rise of the Ronin is an action RPG game from Team Ninja, a developer studio well-known for making Nioh. The game’s storyline is set in 1863 in Japan where you will get to play as a Ronin. It is already up for pre-orders on PlayStation 5 and the release date is set for March 22.
If we talk about rumours, the PlayStation State of Play January 2024 could feature Death Stranding 2, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, a Sonic Generations remaster game, Silent Hill 2, Until Dawn remaster, and a new Metro game among others.
