MySmartPrice was the first publication to break the news regarding the existence of the POCO M2 Pro. We had spotted the device on Xiaomi India’ RF Exposure page, which apart from confirming the existence of the device and revealing its name, revealed that its model number is M2003J6CI. Today, we have spotted the POCO M2 Pro once again, on Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG certification platforms.
POCO M2 Pro spotted on Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG
The Wi-Fi Alliance listing that we have come across today, mentions that it is for the model number M2003J6CI, which, we know from our earlier leaks, that it is the POCO M2 Pro. The listing reveals that the phone has dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac and Android 10 operating system with MIUI 11 operating system.
The Bluetooth SIG listing also mentions the model number of the POCO M2 Pro, M2003J6CI. The listing of the POCO M2 Pro on Bluetooth SIG reveals that the phone has Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and MIUI software.
The POCO M2 Pro is expected to come as a lower mid-range smartphone. It could be a couple of thousand bucks costlier than the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max and offer slightly better hardware. Although, this smartphone will be placed below the POCO X2, in our opinion. Now that the phone has bagged so many certifications and the fact that it had been listed on the brand’s official website for India, suggests that its launch is imminent.
