POCO X3 Indian Variant to be Powered by a Massive 6000mAh Battery, Launch Set for September 22

Upcoming POCO X3 will pack a mammoth 6,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support compared to 5,160mAh on the global version.

POCO Global launched the POCO X3 NFC last week at an event in Europe. The smartphone is confirmed to launch in India on 22nd September. A recent leak claimed that the Indian variant will have some changes under the hood compared to the POCO X3 NFC global variant, which was also teased on the Flipkart landing page earlier. Today, POCO India posted a teaser on Twitter that hints towards a 6000mAh battery unit on the device compared to the 5,160mAh on the POCO X3 NFC global.

POCO X3 Specifications and Features

The POCO X3 features a 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of 395ppi. The display on POCO X3 comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate which is covered under Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is a HDR10 certified panel that can achieve a peak brightness of 450 nits.

Coming to the optics, POCO X3 packs a 64MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor with f/1.89 aperture which is accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP Macro lens with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The POCO X3 is capable of recording 4k 30fps videos and comes with AI SkyScaping 3.0, 6 long exposure modes, AI photo clones, Pro mode, Night mode, AI portrait mode, Movie frame, and more. The device packs a 20MP AI selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.

Under-the-hood, the POCO X3 packs an all-new octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G built on an 8nm process, that is coupled with an Adreno 618 GPU, LPDDR4x RAM, and UFS 2.1 storage. POCO X3 NFC (Global variant) packs a huge 5160mAh battery, but the Indian variant will likely pack a 6,000mAh battery unit with 33W fast charging support over Type-C charging port.

The device features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that is embedded in the power button and supports face unlock as well. POCO X3 has a 3.5mm headphone jack and is also the first POCO device feature a stereo setup. POCO X3 has a metal chassis, made up of super aluminum alloy but has a polycarbonate back.

POCO X3 Expected Price in India
