While the announcement was spotted on POCO’s Global Twitter handle, the launch timing of the POCO X6 Series for the global markets is the same as that of India. The global variant is likely to remain the same as of Indian variant. Hence, the official announcement of POCO X6 Pro with HyperOS is expected to arrive soon by POCO India.
As per reports, the POCO X6 Pro will be a tweaked version of the Redmi K70e, which was released in China a few weeks back. Leaked renders of the device suggest that the company may introduce a signature POCO Yellow variant of the device.
The POCO X6 Pro is expected to feature a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The device may borrow the same triple rear camera setup from its Redmi counterpart with a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens.
The company will also launch the POCO X6, which is expected to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. The company has not revealed much details about the base model, as the teasers have focused more on the POCO X6 Pro.
POCO has also been leading the HyperOS rollout in India. The company recently released the HyperOS OTA update to the POCO F5, ahead of any other devices from Xiaomi’s flagship Mi Series and the Redmi Note Series.
